Video shows lorry pushing trapped car along motorway UK news

A haulage organisation currently began an review after a video emerged that appears to show a truck motorist speeding along a main highway unknowingly that a car was trapped underneath the bumper.

The mobile phone footage shows an Arclid Transport truck travelling in the fast line on the A1(M) nearby Wetherby, West Yorkshire, with a blue Renault Clio trapped laterally underneath the bumper.

The footage, believed to have been filmed in Jan by passengers in a car on the same road, showed the motorist of the Clio – who has not so far been identified – looming to try to recover the car by dire the brakes.

A masculine voice can be listened inside the car from that the stage was filmed, shouting: "He [the truck driver] hasn"t even seen it."

It is believed the car motorist emerged but any critical injuries once both vehicles had come to a stop. The footage was after posted on YouTube.

A orator for Cheshire-based Arclid Transport, that specialises in transporting bulk powders and granular products via the UK, pronounced an review had begun.
