SXSW: Wolfram Alpha wins best in show

Wolfram Alpha, the "answer engine", took dual awards, together with the Best of Show endowment at the SXSW Web Awards in Austin, Texas last night.

The site, grown by British scientist Stephen Wolfram, is written to lapse formula to formidable queries, such as algebraic equations. As well as the Best of Show award, Wolfram Alpha additionally perceived the endowment for Technical Achievement.

Much of the courtesy prior to the awards was focused on the Mobile category, with most conjecture as to either the endowment would go to one of the vital location-based services.
