Trees of remembrance: what tree would you choose as a memorial? Life and style

I have had the following subject from reader Amanda:

I have a depot seizure and am wake planning. I wish to leave a tree as a commemorative and would similar to one whose name suggests free spirit, fun etc. Also I"d similar to to leave room for a second one for when my father joins me.

The subject has left me scratching my head. I am positively struggling to think of any names, so incited instead to mystic meanings. However, those class that are deliberate commemorative trees lend towards to have sincerely complicated and depressed symbolism attached, mostly formed on Victorian symbolism, and that lot weren"t only well known for their love of fun and their open-mindedness. The nearest I found was juniper, that is compared with St Juniper, the saint of humerous entertainment (and additionally with gin, I suppose), but annoyingly additionally with chastity, that puts a bit of a dampener on things.
