Dr. Jack I. Zweig Oncologist passed at 75

Oncologist Dr. Jack I. Zweig died at his home yesterday from pancreatic cancer. He was 75.A life-long New Yorker, he was innate in the Bronx and was a connoisseur of James Monroe High School, Columbia College and New York Medical College. He confirmed a in isolation use in Manhattan for some-more than 40 years in connection with Beth Israel and alternative hospitals.He is survived by his mother of 49 years, Elisabeth; young kids Karen, Kenneth, Richard and Monica; and eight grandchildren.Services will be at noon currently at Zion Memorial Chapel at 785 E. Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck.Interment will follow at Mount Eden Cemetery in Hawthorne. The family will lay shiva at home in New Rochelle.In lieu of flowering plants the family requests donations be done to Jansen Hospice and Palliative Care (jansenhospice.org).
